Edgey vs Depth error

The abuse technique

f you are looking for hardcore beats, Edgey is a band to go get. This album is full of harsh breakcore percussions, although it doesn’t hit you all at once. They slowly get you accustomed to the style with the first track "Internecine Conflict" which is heavier on the atmosphere than the percussions. Following is "Blind" which hits you full force with noise and broken beats and tons of distortion. The album goes back and forth between both bands like a DJ war on crack cocaine. The track "Future Me" has a harsh baseline sporadic percussions and feedback following no format as true noise should. The next Edgey track "Malice Spoils" has a nice groove and an old-school feel to it. With tracks like "Precious Metals" it would seem that DE comes out on top of this cracked out war each time. Edgey is more aggressive and in your face this album up to "My Tactic - Vengeance" which at times gives you a breather from the insanity than the other tracks. Edgey ends on the same foot they start on with "Clocks" more atmosphere and less percussions bringing their assault full circle as it were. On the other hand DE leaves you with something to groove to with "Uneasy Rider" the backing noises on this track are quite impressive. If you are looking to have your brain melt into a cyberpunk ooze this album is recommended and will definitely produce that outcome with its assault.
